Description

The event will contribute to better understanding of the policy issues in electronic government and allow for the exchange of experiences on policies related to important aspects of electronic government. The tutorial will introduce the salient issues underling policy design, implementation and monitoring particularly for public service delivery including organizational, technical and legal aspects. The workshop contributions will include papers and discussions related to policies for sustainable e-government in developing countries, policies for information sharing, participation, interoperability and universal access.

Biography

Ik Jae Chung

Ik Jae Chung's teaching and research interests are policy analysis with computer simulation models and information management and policy with a comparative perspective. His recent work has focused on public policy issues in information security and impact of Internet on policy-making process. He has also developed cross-cultural special programs for developing human resources in the area of information management and IT strategy.
